What Makes The Camp Bow Wow Business Tick?

Camp Bow Wow Lobby

Camp Bow Wow is first and foremost a place Where a Dog Can Be a Dog.® Founder and Top Dog Heidi Ganahl knew that pet owners like herself were in need of a safe space to bring their dogs to learn, play and be loved. So in 2000, she set out to create what is known today as the largest pet care franchise in the United States — just a short 16 years later.

Behind every successful business, is a strong purpose.

We have only one golden rule here at Camp Bow Wow, and that is that each and every person involved in making our franchise system of 130+ Camps a success must love dogs! Sure there’s always a bottom line, but at the end of the day we do what we do for the dogs and dog lovers of the world. It’s that loving and caring foundation that has driven Camp Bow Wow down the road to success.

The pet care industry is booming, and our franchise owners are capitalizing.

Studies have shown that more and more people are treating their dogs the same way treat their children. For this reason, they’re more concerned with the quality of pet care than ever before, and want to take their pets to the most trusted name they know… cue Camp Bow Wow!

Statistics show that about 44% of American households have dogs, and that pet ownerships trends are still on the rise. According to IBSWorld, pet owners spent a total of $60 billion dollars in 2015. That just goes to show that pet parents are willing to seek out and pay for the best dog training and doggy day care facilities, where they know their pet will be treated like a member of the family. For that reason, our franchise owners have seen tremendous success and growth year-after-year.
